How to read a college textbook

1. Do a cursory reading - it will give a little insight into the things to be learned.

2. We need to read at least ten sheets every three hours - this will be able to help the development of our oatmeal.

3. Monitor your understanding- It can be  known when you learn during a classroom learning session


WHAT IS CRITICAL THINKING?



Critical thinking is a thinking skill that helps humans to find a solution to a problem effectively.


Characteristics of critical thinking

1.They will not accept a statement as a whole before checking the validity of a statement and is wise in considering its pros and cons.
2. They involve analysis, interpretation and, evaluation when thinking critically.
3. They have a strong argument and appose for a solution.
4.Think deeply before out the statement.


Step by step to solve a problem. 


1. Identify a problem to solve.

2. Search for alternatives effectively.

3. Sketching a plan to see a clear solution.

4. Doing an action plan.

5. Evaluate the result after done making action.


Reading Comprehension Strategies.


1. Do an overview before reading overall.

2. Take a short note and write on the card.

3. Read a paragraph in the textbook before marking the important point.

4. Underline the point where you do not understand.

6. Complete an exercise about a topic after you read it.

5. Highlight if you think that important thing.
